After securing a brilliant sixth-place finish at the Hungarian Grand Prix, Gabriel Bortoleto also had the chance to enjoy himself by joining Italian house music trio Meduza on stage.

After an initial learning phase in the early races, Gabriel Bortoleto has definitely been one of the standout drivers in recent rounds.

The Brazilian scored points in three of the last four races, finishing eighth in Austria, ninth in Belgium, and most notably, sixth in the most recent race in Hungary.

A great result for the Sauber driver, which—together with the points scored by Nico Hülkenberg—has allowed the team led by Mattia Binotto and Jonathan Wheatley, set to become Audi next season, to temporarily move up to seventh in the Constructors’ Championship, just one point behind Aston Martin.

Bortoleto has earned the respect of many of his peers on track, including Fernando Alonso, who has managed his interests through A14 Management for years and has even labeled him the best rookie of his generation.

''The truth is that he always pushes, he doesn't make mistakes, he's always there putting pressure on you,'' the Spaniard said, adding that Bortoleto is ''the best rookie of this generation, I always say it — he proved it last year with equal cars.''

''I think that if he were English or something and finished sixth with a Sauber, he'd be on the front page of every newspaper, because what he’s doing is truly exceptional. I really hope people see that.''

Putting racing on hold for a few weeks, Bortoleto has also enjoyed some lighthearted moments off the track. Gabriel had the honor of joining the well-known house music group Meduza on stage as they performed their latest remix of the popular Brazilian song "Passo Bem Solto."

''We needed a Brazilian on stage for our Passo Bem Solto remix…luckily Gabriel Bortoleto had our back,'' the Instagram post shared by the trio reads.
