With around two hours to go during the final day of testing, Aston Martin has confirmed that the team has completed its programme for today.
This comes after the statement that the Silverstone-based team would run a limited number of laps on Friday. Power unit manufacturer Honda stated: "Our last run with Fernando Alonso yesterday showed a battery-related issue that impacted our test plan with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team.
“Since then, we have been carrying out simulations on the test bench in HRC Sakura. Due to this, and a shortage of power unit parts, we have adapted today's run plan to be very limited and consist only of short stints."
So far this week, the Aston Martin has been responsible two red flags. One occurred when Lance Stroll spun out in Turn 11, and on Thursday, the AMR26 stopped under Fernando Alonso.

So far on Friday, Stroll has completed a total of six laps, without setting a lap time at all.
This comes after the team arrived late for the Barcelona shakedown, and completed the fewest laps during the first week of testing at the Bahrain International Circuit.
