A video circulating online shows some Brazilian fans shouting unpleasant remarks at Lewis Hamilton’s race engineer, Riccardo Adami.
The video in question was filmed on the starting grid just moments before the start of the Brazilian GP, with the Italian engineer being taunted by chants of “Adami, you can wait — your time will come.”
Toward the end of the clip, one of the fans can even be seen flipping him off just as Adami turned around in their direction. The short 18-second clip quickly made the rounds online, with users expressing outrage at an act that’s clearly unacceptable and has no place in Formula 1 — or in sport in general.
The video marks the second unsportsmanlike incident of the weekend, following Lando Norris being booed on the podium — just as he was in Mexico — and even receiving a gesture of disapproval from a Racing Bulls crew member, which prompted the squad to speak out publicly.

The seven-time world champion and the Monegasque driver have found themselves under fire following comments made by Ferrari president John Elkann, who, after the team’s double DNF in Brazil, urged both drivers to “focus on driving more and talk less.”
The remarks caused quite a stir in a season where the Maranello-based squad has lacked many things — but effort from its drivers certainly wasn’t one of them. Leclerc, in particular, has carried the team on his shoulders, taking seven podium finishes compared to none for his teammate.
Following Elkann’s comments, both drivers went on to post separate messages on their social media accounts .
