McLaren have decided to stick with the successful pairing of Lando Norris and race engineer Will Joseph for this season, the team has confirmed to GPblog.

The Woking-based team won the constructors’ championship for the second season in a row, while Norris was also able to celebrate his first F1 drivers' championship world title.

Norris was guided through the campaign by his long-serving race engineer, who is also McLaren’s Director of Race Engineering. It was therefore expected that the partnership would continue in 2026. GPblog has learned that this is indeed the case.

Previously, Stallard worked in the same role with Stoffel Vandoorne, Carlos Sainz, and Daniel Ricciardo during their time at McLaren.
