Frederik Vesti is a Danish racing driver. He has been part of the Mercedes Junior Team since 2021 and finished runner-up in the 2023 Formula 2 Championship. In 2024, he was officially appointed as reserve driver for the Mercedes Formula 1 team.
Vesti began his career in karting, winning multiple national titles in Denmark. In 2019, he made his breakthrough in international single-seaters by dominating the Formula Regional European Championship and securing the title.
In 2020 and 2021, he raced in Formula 3, taking several wins with Prema Racing and ART Grand Prix. He then moved up to Formula 2. In his second season in 2023, once again with Prema, he fought for the title until the final round and finished second in the standings.
