The Monaco GP weekend has come to an end, and so has a Sunday full of F1 news, of which the most relevant ones, you'll be able to find here in GPblog's daily round-up: F1 Today.

Verstappen comes up with Mario Kart solution to troubled Monaco Grand Prix

The mandatory two-stopper set by the FIA to enhance the spectacle received little endorsement from the four-time world champion: "You can't race here anyway, so it doesn't matter what you do. One stop, ten stops. Yeah, you just… I mean, even at the end, I was in the lead, but my tyres were completely gone, and you still can't pass. I think nowadays, with an F1 car, you can just pass a Formula 2 car around here," was what the 27-year-old had to say to Sky Sports.
On the attempt by Formula 1 and the FIA to make racing in Monaco more interesting, Verstappen remains sceptical: "I mean, I get it, but I don't think it worked."
When asked what could actually work, he sarcastically replied: "I don't know. But then, honestly, we were almost doing Mario Kart, and then we would have to install bits on the car. Maybe you could throw bananas around. I don't know slippery surface or something!"

Adami replies to Hamilton's question with silence

Hamilton asked his engineer if the gap to the leaders was over a minute long. Although his race engineer did reply, he did not answer the seven-time world champions question, to which Hamilton reacted annoyed: "You’re not answering the question. It doesn’t really matter I guess, I’m just asking if I’m a minute behind or not.”
After the race came to an end, Hamilton, perhaps prompted by Adami's silence, asked: “Are you upset with me or something?” The silence, however, remained.
Communications between Hamilton and Adami have reached a new low point, with the pair getting off to a rocky start to their relationship already in Australia, with Miami being a rather contentious one, with Hamilton telling Adami to 'have a tea while you're at it' regarding Ferrari's slow reaction to the team orders the Briton was asking for.
Now in Monaco the pair have hit a new wall, fueling rumours of a rift between the two.
