Verstappen relishes in his team's success after Horner's sacking from Red Bull

Christian Horner was fired from CEO and team principal duties by Red Bull management on Tuesday evening, however, Max Verstappen, has ample reason to celebrate.

Announced yesterday morning, Red Bull's management's decision to break off all colaborations with Horner took the F1 world, as well as himself in his own words, by surprise.

What this means for Verstappen's future it is still too early to tell, with the four-time world champion's decision to remain at Red Bull Racing still hanging in the balance.

Nevertheless, the Dutchman finds himslef with cause to celebrate a sporting success, even if it's not F1 related.

Team Redline make it through to the finals of the E-Sports World Cup

The sim racing world championship is currently underway and is set to find its new winner tomorrow, Thursday, July 10th at 12:00 CEST time, 11:00 BST time.

Team Redline, the sim racing team avid sim racer Max Verstappen drives for and represents, have been able to beat their rivals and move forward to the finals.

They did so showing strong form winning two out of three possible races and leading the charts with 43 points, 4 more than their closes pursuer.

However, Max Verstappen did not play an active role in the team's milestone. The Dutchman is currently at Red Bull Racing's factory in Milton Keynes, following Horner's dismissal.
