F1 Canadian Grand Prix 2025
The Circuit Gilles Villeneuve is one of the faster tracks on the Formula 1 calendar. There are three DRS zones where drivers can make use of the system. However, that doesn't mean drivers only have to press the accelerator to complete a lap. The circuit also has slow corners and technical sections.
The drivers will face immediate challenges at the start. Those who attempt to pass on the outside in the first corner combination could find themselves in trouble. In the past, we’ve witnessed plenty of chaos at this chicane. If that isn’t enough, the hairpin just before the long straight is bound to cause some action. It leads to an exciting point in corner 14: the famous Wall of Champions.

GP Canada results 2024
The Canadian GP marked the ninth race of the season in F1 2024. A rainy start saw Max Verstappen dominate the race from pole as the Dutchman took his 60th race win. Lando Norris and George Russell completed the podium.
Lewis Hamilton in the Canadian GP
Circuit de Gilles-Villeneuve is Hamilton’s favourite track, and it shows in his results around the venue. The Brit is tied with Michael Schumacher for most victories in Montreal, both clinching first place seven times. In his debut season in 2007, Hamilton won his first ever race at this venue and he has since been on the podium a further nine times.
