A German YouTuber caused a stir by taking on a remarkable challenge. In the video, he sets himself a task tied to Nico Hulkenberg’s performance.

The challenge began 28 days before the scheduled Silverstone Grand Prix. He declared he would do one additional push-up each day until Hülkenberg either reached the podium or ended his career.

The challenge ended sooner than expected, as Hulkenberg astonishingly made it to the podium at Silverstone — the German’s first in 239 Formula 1 races.

The YouTuber pointed out that the number 27 was meant to bring luck, as it’s Hülkenberg’s car number. The video shows him completing his final 28 push-ups for the Stake team.
