Alonso reacts to rumoured ex partner Taylor Swift's engagement
This week, it was announced that famous singer and songwriter Taylor Swift has got engaged. Fernando Alonso also reacted to the news.
In 2023, there were rumours about the two-time world champion and Swift dating, although never confirmed.
The previous year, her song titled "imgonnagetyouback" also has the lyrics: "I'm an Aston Martin that you steered straight into the ditch then ran and hid."
Swift will marry Travis Kelce, who plays as a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, and is also an investor in the Alpine F1 team.
Alonso reacts to Swift's engagement
On Sky Sports, the drivers were asked about news leading up to the Dutch Grand Prix weekend.
Alonso therefore also reacted to the engagement. With a big smile, the Spaniard commented: "Good, congratulations I guess?"
Alpine driver Franco Colapinto also said that he hopes Swift and Kelce can attend an F1 race after the wedding.
