It's been quite the turnaround for Lewis Hamilton while in the USA. This weekend, he was in Florida for the Miami Grand Prix. Then, just a day after Sunday's Grand Prix, he flew all the way to New York for the 2025 Met Gala.
In October 2024, it was announced that the seven-time world champion was to be a co-chair for the 2025 edition of the world-famous fashion event, looking to celebrate Black style from the 18th century to the present day.
Then, just a month before the event, he was on the front page of Vogue magazine and their iconic Met Issue, along with actor Colman Domingo, rapper A$AP Rocky and singer Pharrell Williams.
After a challenging race in Miami on Sunday, he travelled to New York to swap the Miami International Autodrome for the iconic red carpet of the Met Gala.
As the co-chair of the 2025 event, the 40-year-old celebrated 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style', which is a fundraiser for The Costume Institute. His outfit was designed by black British designer Grace Wales Bonner.
Alongside Hamilton, the other three co-chairs who were involved in the Met Issue last month were on the red carpet, with many other huge stars from across the world joining them in the 'Big Apple'.
