It was quickly discovered that Verstappen was testing out the Ferrari 296 GT3. The ex-Red Bull Racing driver has often been linked to the newest team joining the grid, Cadillac, but rumours have recently surfaced regarding talks with him at two other teams as well. GPblog understands that Perez's camp is in talks with two teams besides Cadillac about a possible seat for the 2026 season. 

In an exclusive interview with GPBlog, Mario Andretti confirmed that Perez was a serious candidate for a Cadillac seat.
