Dani Pedrosa recently returned to the saddle in KTM colours as part of a Red Bull promo video in which he rode a MotoGP bike in heavy snow.

Former Honda rider and MotoGP legend Dani Pedrosa took to a new form of motorcycle racing this week when he took his KTM bike for a spin in the snow as part of a Red Bull challenge.

The "little samurai", as he is sometimes known, is largely considered to be the best rider in MotoGP history never to have won a world championship title, though he finished as runner-up in the standings three times during his career.

Riding alongside the likes of Nicky Hayden, Casey Stoner and Marc Marquez at Honda, Pedrosa adopted a new role in 2021 as a test rider for KTM.

Over the last few seasons, Pedrosa has made a handful of wildcard appearances for KTM, even managing to secure a dramatic sprint podium in the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez after nearly half the field crashed out due to slippery conditions.

Pedrosa put his balance on display once again in a new video uploaded by Red Bull's Greece account on instagram. The video shows him tearing around on a snow track aboard a KTM outfitted with gnarly 30mm spiked tyres.

While Red Bull is known for conducting all sorts of interesting an unique challenges, riding a MotoGP in the snow is a testament to the skills of the Spanish rider who appears to be enjoying his more laidback role these days.
