Former F1 driver and teammate Nico Rosberg has sympathised with Lewis Hamilton, saying that his current form at Ferrari is "hard to watch". The seven-time world champion branded the
Spanish Grand Prix the "worst race of his career." He finished P6 behind teammate Charles Leclerc and Nico Hulkenberg's Sauber.
The 40-year-old made the change to the Scuderia for the 2025 season, moving from Mercedes after 12 years at the German team, forming one of the most successful partnerships the pinnacle of motorsport has seen.

Rosberg sees "a dark situation" at Ferrari
However, since making that move, Hamilton has only been able to finish inside the top five in two of the nine Grands Prix this season, with a P1 and P3 in two sprint races the only podiums he has gotten.
His disappointing P6 at the
Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya was enough to get Rosberg worried about his former teammate.
"It's hard to watch," the 2016 world champion started by saying about Hamilton's poor race pace while on Sky Sports.
"Today was a horrible day for him because he was just slow out there, which is very unusual because, yes, sometimes he's been a little bit off in qualifying, but in racing, usually he's still really, really awesome."
Rosberg and Hamilton raced together at Mercedes from 2013 to 2016, with Hamilton winning two world titles in that stretch, while Rosberg took his in 2016 before he then retired.
The German continued on about the struggles his former teammate has faced, worried that there may be no quick turnaround.
"Today, the race was just shockingly bad, and then he doesn't have answers either. Was there damage to the floor, as these floors are so sensitive, and there can always be a little bit there, and then you lose a lot of time? Or what was going on?
"When you don't have any answers, it's really tough as a driver, and then you see your teammate racing up all the way to third place, being on the podium. In light of the whole season that he's had so far, it's a very dark situation," concluded Rosberg.
