It seemed like Max Verstappen, similarly to many of the drivers, enjoyed the LEGO drivers' parade in Miami. However, the defending world champion does not want it to become a regular thing in F1, he explained.
Talking to GPblog among others in the Imola paddock, Max Verstappen was asked about the LEGO car he could drive in Miami.
"Yes, I think it's fine. I think it's always a bit more fun when we can interact with each other. I don't like when we are all separated. It's all pretty boring."
He continued also mentioning the collisions on track many were involved in: "Of course there was a lot of LEGO debris on the track afterwards. Some teams were shunting into each other, I got even stuck in the wall. I thought it was great for once, one time."
On the other hand, Verstappen does not necessarily want it to return in the future. "I'm also 27 years old, I don't need to cruise around in a Lego car all the time in the parade, to be honest."
The defending world champion concluded: "I mean, it was fine. But I also enjoyed just being on the back of the truck and just chatting to your other drivers to just catch up a bit on the weekend."
