It seemed like Max Verstappen, similarly to many of the drivers, enjoyed the LEGO drivers' parade in Miami. However, the defending world champion does not want it to become a regular thing in F1, he explained. Talking to
GPblog among others in the
Imola paddock, Max Verstappen was asked about the LEGO car he could drive in Miami.
"Yes, I think it's fine. I think it's always a bit more fun when we can interact with each other. I don't like when we are all separated. It's all pretty boring."
He continued also mentioning the collisions on track many were involved in: "Of course there was a lot of LEGO debris on the track afterwards. Some teams were shunting into each other, I got even stuck in the wall. I thought it was great for once, one time."
Verstappen not excited about repeat of LEGO cars
On the other hand, Verstappen does not necessarily want it to return in the future. "I'm also 27 years old, I don't need to cruise around in a Lego car all the time in the parade, to be honest."
The defending world champion concluded: "I mean, it was fine. But I also enjoyed just being on the back of the truck and just chatting to your other drivers to just catch up a bit on the weekend."
