Lewis Hamilton is currently having a disappointing season at Ferrari. The seven-time world champion has only managed to secure two podium finishes in the sprint races so far. Former F1 driver and now analyst Christijan Albers was highly critical of Hamilton's approach during the post-race analysis. Albers is a fan of Hamilton and Verstappen
The Viaplay analyst reflects back on the year 2021, when Hamilton and Verstappen pushed each other to their limits. "I still believe that no one will ever forget 2021. Perhaps the two greatest drivers of all time were in battle." After that season, Hamilton has faded, and Albers also sees that the move to Ferrari has not turned out to be as fortunate as expected so far. He is in the dark and lacks an explanation from Hamilton on why things are falling short.
"I expect that explanation from him to us, the fans. Like: 'Okay, I'm struggling, but why is that? Is it getting used to the car, is the rear end unstable, because then you're definitely going slower.'"

Disappointing Results in 2025 for Hamilton
Lewis Hamilton has yet to reach the podium this season. The British driver did finish first in China during the sprint and made it to the Sprint in Miami.
Former team principal Mattia Binotto also sees Hamilton struggling and thinks that the seven-time world champion moved to the Italian team too late in age. Team principal Fred Vasseur is also under fire, but
it was recently revealed that Hamilton firmly supports Vasseur.
