Lewis Hamilton has said that he is "excited" to "see what the car can do" when he takes to the streets of Monaco in a Ferrari for the first time.
Despite his sprint race win at the Chinese Grand Prix and a sprint race P3 at the Miami Grand Prix, the start of the 2025 season had been one to forget for the seven-time world champion since moving to the Scuderia.
However, an impressive drive at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix showed the potential that Ferrari and Hamilton have. Recovering from a dismal P12 in qualifying, the Brit took P4 in front of an adoring Tifosi, giving him his first finish inside the top five in a Grand Prix this campaign.

Hamilton hoping Ferrari can back up their 2024 result

Last year, Ferrari found the pace needed in the most important qualifying session of the season, allowing Charles Leclerc to put his car on pole and hold on to the lead throughout Sunday to take one of the more emotional wins seen last season.
With that being the case, along with coming off the best results of the season so far for both team and driver, Hamilton is hopeful about what might happen in the principality this weekend.
"It's going to be one of the first times we get into these tighter circuits," Hamilton said in the paddock at Imola to several media sources, including GPblog.
"I mean, our car, I think, is pretty good in medium and high [speed corners], and I think we've struggled more in low. But, hopefully, we're able to unlock some of this performance that we're trying to get.
"Perhaps it will be better in the slower speed circuits that we're coming to. Also, Ferrari has been known for being pretty good in places like Monaco, so I'm really excited to see what the car can do in some of that," concluded the seven-time world champion.
