Andrea Kimi Antonelli has become the youngest ever pole sitter in the history of F1, but after his pole he has also shown his highly ambitious character as he is eager to repeat today's success across the whole Miami Grand Prix weekend.
Speaking on F1TV, the young Italian, who had never driven on the Miami track before, spoke of his feelings after achieving pole.
"I'm feeling over the moon. You know, I did not expect it, but I was feeling good in the car. I was able to improve lap by lap and find that consistency. And that lap came all together and I'm super, super happy with that."
"Now we will enjoy this moment a little bit more but I want to focus on tomorrow because I really want to try and repeat myself," added the young and ambitious Italian.

Antonelli aims to repeat the success he attained in the Sprint Qualifying across the weekend

Regarding attaining his first major milestone in F1, Antonelli is happy to be able to share the moment with 'his rock', father Marco Antonelli.
"Definitely was it was really nice. And also to find him in the garage right after qualifying. And I'm super happy to share this moment with him. And it's so important to me as well."
"He's like a rock. And I know I can always rely on him. So really happy to share this moment with him. Unfortunately, I would like to share it with my mom and my sister as well. But, hopefully next time."
What are the hopes for the remainder of the weekend? For Antonelli, all that matters is repeating the success he got a taste of today.
"We did quite a long run in FP1 to try and gather as much information as possible. Of course, we don't really know the pace of the others, but I guess we will see tomorrow during the race."
"And then how about the qualifying? The track is going to keep evolving, so it's going to be important to be on top of it and try to repeat ourselves."
