Earlier this weekend, Auto, Motor und Sport reported that Red Bull Racing are once again concerned with McLaren's tyre management. CEO Zak Brown has now answered to the Austrians.
The German medium reported that Red Bull Racing monitored McLaren's brake cooling with thermal cameras.
Especially during the previous two Grand Prix weekends, in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, Red Bull found that the Woking-based team's brake ducts remained remarkably cooler than their rivals' had on their cars, and concluded that is not only because of air cooling.

'Brown challenges Red Bull'

This is not the first time, Red Bull Racing are looking into McLaren's tyre management. During the São Paulo Grand Prix, the British team were accused of injecting water into the Pirelli tyres.
For the one and only free practice session, Brown has prepared a clear response as well in Miami. On his water bottle, the American had stickers with the words 'tyre water'.

"This is clearly going too far. There’s a team that constantly tries to destabilize us with such accusations,” Brown told AMuS.
The Germans also say Brown challenges their rivals to file a protest to the FIA. “The protest fee needs to be high enough for a team to think twice about whether it wants to appeal."
The CEO also explained why the accusations would not work in practice. “Water in the tyres would mean extra weight and the tyre pressure would skyrocket upon heating,” he concluded.
