It was a chaotic Sprint at the Miami Grand Prix in changeable conditions. With a one-two finish, the McLaren drivers gained important points.
After an unsafe release when switching from intermediates to slicks, Max Verstappen received a 10-second time penalty, and therefore did not score a single point this Saturday.
As a result, Oscar Piastri gained 7, while Sprint winner Lando Norris gained 8 points on the Dutchman.
UPDATE: Several penalties were handed out after the Sprint by the stewards. Three drivers who scored points, Oliver Bearman (for unsafe release), Alexander Albon (safety car infringement) and Liam Lawson (causing a collision) all received five-second penalties.
Therefore, Yuki Tsunoda scores 3, Kimi Antonelli claims 2, and Pierre Gasly gets a single point.
