The FP2 session in Baku has just ended, with Lewis Hamilton setting the fastest time and his teammate Charles Leclerc trailing behind. Below are the full results.
In the Baku afternoon, Ferrari takes the spotlight, with Lewis Hamilton topping Charles Leclerc in a very positive FP2 for the Maranello team. The Englishman finished the session in 1:41.293, 74 thousandths ahead of the Monegasque.
Third and fourth go to the two Mercedes, with George Russell and Kimi Antonelli nearly half a second behind the two Ferraris. Fifth is Bearman with an excellent time on medium tires for Haas, while Max Verstappen sits in sixth.
Problems for the two McLarens: Lando Norris hit the wall midway through the session, forcing him to retire early, while Piastri finished outside the top 10 in twelfth.
