The FIA, as always, has announced the final starting grid an hour before the race. This is how the F1 drivers will start the Grand Prix of Hungary.
Earlier on Sunday, it was already announced that Yuki Tsunoda would have to start from the pit lane because Red Bull Racing swapped some parts outside of parc fermé rules, with the Japanese driver exceeding engine components allocation for the 2025 season.
As a result, Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, Nico Hulkenberg and Alexander Albon have all been moved up a place. The rest of the grid will start according to the qualifying results.
Charles Leclerc will start the Hungarian Grand Prix from pole after unexpectedly beating both McLaren drivers who will see the lights go out in P2 and P3 with Oscar Piastri leading Lando Norris.
George Russell will start from the fourth position, followed by both Aston Martin drivers with Fernando Alonso on P5 and Lance Stroll on P6.
Gabriel Bortoleto will start from P7, ahead of the reigning F1 world champion, Max Verstappen in P8. Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar complete the top ten.
