The final practice session at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix unfolded in a manner far from the Friday runnings, with the wind largely taking the spotlight. However, it was Lando Norris who came out on top through the session.
The McLaren driver stormed to another commanding performance, finishing over two-tenths of a second ahead of Max Verstappen. The British driver, who led the first free practice of the Azerbaijan weekend, clocked the fastest lap of 1:41.223.
The pair were followed by Oscar Piastri, who set the third-fastest lap time, just under a tenth behind Verstappen.
Scuderia Ferrari, however, were a little off the pace they showed during FP2, with Hamilton mustering up a fourth-place finish and Charles Leclerc only able to manage a tenth-place finish.
Kimi Antonelli led the Mercedes during the session, finishing in fifth place ahead of Russell in sixth. Alex Albon clocked the seventh-fastest time ahead of Ollie Bearman, who led much of the early part of the session. Liam Lawson finished in ninth ahead of Leclerc.
