Some social media action from Lewis Hamilton has caused a bit of commotion, as the seven-time world champion supposedly liked - and then unliked - a post criticising the performance of Ferrari in 2025.
The 40-year-old made the massive move from Mercedes after years of success to join the Scuderia for the 2025 season after the Italian team finished second behind McLaren in the constructors' championship last campaign.
However, the move that looked so good on paper has not panned out on the track, with both Hamilton and Ferrari struggling with their performance, resulting in the Brit not having a podium finish in any of the first nine Grands Prix, with only two top-five finishes so far.
Carlos Sainz, the man the Brit replaced at Ferrari, said that he was "not surprised" that Hamilton was struggling after moving to the Italian team.
Lewis Hamilton currently sits P6 in the drivers' championship on 71 points, 23 points of teammate Charles Leclerc.

The Brit has been able to take a sprint race in at the Chinese Grand Prix, along with a P3 in the sprint race at the Miami Grand Prix, but they have been the only bright sparks in what has been a gloomy season.
There have also been issues with race engineer Riccardo Adami over the team radio during Grands Prix, with multiple conflicts occurring so far in 2025. Hamilton has dismissed speculation on the tension between the two of them, but there have been rumours that Ferrari are searching for a replacement.

Hamilton likes Ferrari criticism post on social media

In the lead-up to this weekend’s Canadian Grand Prix, another chapter has been added to the strained relationship between Hamilton and Ferrari. The 40-year-old driver reportedly liked a social media post that criticized Scuderia Ferrari. The post included comments expressing how painful it is to watch Hamilton struggle like this.
Hamilton allegedly removed the like shortly afterward, so it no longer appears on the post. The authenticity of the screenshot cannot be verified, nor can it be confirmed whether it was actually Lewis Hamilton’s official account that gave the like. And even if it was, it could, of course, have happened accidentally.
