Damon Hill does not agree with how the media 'spin' his criticism toward Max Verstappen, a brilliant talent, but whose tactics 'leave little to be desired', according to the former F1 champion at least.
Hill took to social media to rebuttle an article from a motorsport website which stated in its headline that the British former driver had done an 'U-turn' in his respects toward Verstappen after he called him one of the best drivers ever
The former Williams driver responded then tu the story: "Captioned 'U' turn, this heading neatly highlights the problem. Even journalists it seems do not listen to what is being said One can be at once both brilliant, and imperfect His talent is undeniable. His tactics sometimes leave a little to be desired,” Hill said.

Hill complimented Verstappen on his Imola GP win

Hill does not mince words when it comes to issuing criticism toward Verstappen. But, the Briton has also celebrated the Dutchman's greatest exploits. For instance when Verstappen overtook Piastri on the outside of the entry into Tamburello last Sunday.
