Christian Horner has once again addressed the ongoing rumors about Max Verstappen potentially moving to Mercedes next season.

When asked by Sky Sports once again about the rumors involving Max Verstappen and especially George Russell in the driver market, Christian Horner cut straight to the point, saying: ''It's a lot of noise. I think Max gets quite annoyed by it''.

''We're very clear with the contract that we have with Max until 2028. Anything is entirely speculative that is being said. We tend not to pay too much attention to it''.

'George is frustrated'

"I can imagine that George is frustrated. he hasn't been given a contract yet. That's between him and his team. But the situation with Max, we know clearly where we're at. And obviously, as does Max."

He finally added: ''Everything is subject to noise. Obviously, within any contract, it remains confidential between the parties''.

George Russell was recently summoned by the stewards for an unsafe release in the pit lane during the final stages of Q3, with the official verdict shared just moments ago.

Verstappen, on the other hand, faced a very tough qualifying in front of his home fans, unable to fully exploit the maximum potential of his RB21 and the new upgrades due to unfortunate timing with a yellow flag caused by Pierre Gasly.
