Oscar Piastri was unhappy after being impeded by Lewis Hamilton in FP1.
"Ferrari will invent mirrors one day..."- Oscar Piastri in FP1
Hamilton impeded the championship leader heading into Turn 1. The seven-time world champion tried to leave space for the McLaren driver, but did so slightly too late.
Over team radio, Piastri commented: "Yeah... Ferrari will invent mirrors one day, I hope."
The Brit set the fourth quickest time in the session. Piastri finished right behind him, as only 0.001 seconds separated the two drivers.
The session was topped by Fernando Alonso, who finished 0.36 seconds ahead of Hamilton and Piastri.

After back-to-back wins at Monza and Baku, Verstappen now trails Piastri by 69 points in the standings with seven Grands Prix and three Sprints to go in 2025.
"I'm not that fussed with kind of what the championship picture looks like.
"I think Baku was quite a good reminder of firstly how quickly everything can change, but also on some of the things that have made the season so successful for myself and the team," the Australian commented yesterday.
"So I think just trying to stay focused on that will naturally take care of the championship picture."
