Callum Adams, Composite Event Team Leader at Red Bull Racing, says Max Verstappen's success is rubbing people the wrong way, but his time alongside the Dutch champion is something he will remember forever.

Speaking on the latest episode of Behind the Charge, Adams reflected on the perception of the four-time world champion.

'Unfortunately Verstappen wins a lot'

“Unfortunately people only get to see Max doing his job, and his job ultimately is to win,” Adams said.

“And when I say unfortunately, he’s been very successful at that, at winning. So I think a lot of people obviously don’t like that."

'Wouldn't change working with Verstappen for the world'

The Briton then went on to explain how profound of an impact working alongside Verstappen has had in his career.

"Max has played a big part in the memories in my own career that will last forever so I cherish that, I’m proud of that, I’m grateful for that and I wouldn’t really ever want to change it for anything.”

Verstappen and Red Bull Racing are currently enjoying some time off during the F1 summer break. But at the end of August, the racing series is set to fire up the engines once again for the Dutch Grand Prix.
