After qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix, Max Verstappen has to chase the McLaren drivers on Sunday at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The Dutchman was fast on Saturday afternoon but could not match the speed of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris. The internet has reacted to the qualifying session for the Spanish Grand Prix and GPblog brings you the best of them.
Verstappen set the same time as Russell during Saturday afternoon's qualifying, but since the reigning world champion set his time earlier, he starts from P3.
It was a painful qualifying for Verstappen's teammate, Yuki Tsunoda, who suffered from a broken floor and thus did not advance beyond P20 in Q1. Therefore, scoring a significant number of points for Red Bull Racing with two cars will be challenging.
