On the F1 Nation podcast, Tom Clarkson and Natalie Pinkham discuss the race between Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen and whether or not Piastri is intimidated by Verstappen.
Clarkson said right off the bat, "I think he proved that he's not intimidated by Max. But I don't think he went wheel-to-wheel with Max Verstappen in Saudi. For the first five seconds of the race, he made a tremendous start."

Piastri isn't intimidated by anyone

Pinkham then joins in saying, "Well, it was a great start, but don't underestimate the importance of a start."
Clarkson defended Verstappen, saying, "Still, it was that penalty that took it away from Max. Max, 2.8 seconds shy at the flag."
Verstappen received a five-second time penalty after a first-lap incident between himself and Piastri at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
He continues, "Without that penalty, I think he might have won the race, actually, I think the Red Bull was incredibly quick last weekend."
Clarkson then added, "But you're right, Oscar Piastri isn't intimidated by anyone. We saw it at Baku last year when he had Charles Leclerc on his gearbox."
Piastri now leads the championship after winning over both Verstappen and his teammate, Lando Norris.
Continuing about Piastri, Clarkson said,  "He doesn't make mistakes, and actually, that's a nice segue into talking about Lando Norris, isn't it? He said on our show last week, I want to be perfect, and I think for any sports person to say, I want to be perfect, is an unrealistic ambition, right?"
