Lily — Max Verstappen’s first daughter — is only a few weeks old, but she has already completed her first flight. While Verstappen and his girlfriend Kelly Piquet haven’t shared any details about the trip, it was George Russell who accidentally let the news slip. On the eve of the Canadian Grand Prix, Russell mentioned that he happened to meet Verstappen on Sunday at Nice Airport. The Mercedes driver was on his way to Paris for the Roland Garros final between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannick Sinner, won by the Spanish.
"We ran into each other a few days ago on Sunday morning at the airport, when I was heading to Roland Garros," he said, after being asked if Verstappen and him had spoken to each other after their clash in Spain.

"Honestly, I had completely forgotten about Barcelona, because he was there with his newborn baby. And we were at the security check. So he made small talk and then was busy folding the stroller to get it through the machine,” said Russell,
who was particularly surprised by Verstappen's open apologies for the events in Spain.
Max Verstappen flew to the Netherlands last Sunday to attend the baptism of his niece Hailey, Victoria’s daughter. He wasn’t alone — Lily was with him, too, which suggests Kelly Piquet likely traveled with them as well. Photos of Penelope had already surfaced at the baptism party previously.
