Max Verstappen did not drive his regular Red Bull Racing F1 car in a test, but a Ferrari 296 GT3 instead this morning. The Dutchman was at the Nürburgring, where a secret test was to be completed. Verstappen switched to a different car to work on the tuning for the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS). His team, Verstappen.com Racing will be in action in the SP9 class (GT3 category).
The Dutchman is very involved in following and helping his team in his spare time. These tests are carried out usually in secret, however, it was found out that it was indeed the four-time F1 world champion driving.
Verstappen participated under the name 'Franz Hermann'.
