Max Verstappen has a few more days of summer vacation before he heads to Zandvoort for the next F1 race. However, the Dutchman was already active on the track during his vacation. He was ripping around in a Mazda at Charlotte Motor Speedway, but did not stay out of trouble.

A video from Team Redline appeared on YouTube, Verstappen's sim racing team, where the four-time world champion also made his appearance. He drove the Mazda MX-5 over the American circuit on his simulator.

Verstappen encountered the first problem during qualifying. His steering wheel was spinning all the way around and he couldn't control it, resulting in his car hitting the wall. "What the hell is happening here?", Verstappen wondered. This was quickly resolved and he was able to participate in the race.

Verstappen's and Kelly Piquet's Holiday

The summer holiday in Sardinia seems to be over for Verstappen and Kelly Piquet. Yesterday his plane landed back in Monaco. Last week, the Dutchman shared photos of his adventure at sea.
