Lando Norris doesn't expect his McLaren woes to be magically fixed, and urges the team to bring their 'understanding' of the issues to the car. It's no secret that Norris' performances have not been all they could be, particularly when one looks to the other side of the garage to his teammate
Oscar Piastri's consistent success,
but despite the work put in behind the scenes, he's not expecting any miracles.
"It's not like things are going to magically work as I would love, but I think there's been a lot more understanding over the last couple of weeks," said Norris to media at Miami, including GPblog.

Norris expects no magic, and hints at bigger issues with the MCL39
Understanding of what exactly? The Briton himself 'clarifies'.
"Of certain things, certain feelings, what could have affected things and what maybe didn't. The majority of my sim work was based upon that and trying to understand some of these things, which is good."
Good, but not enough. "But then it's about understanding them further, knowing what measures you can take to stop changing things on the car and what you want to put resource into."
His issues with the car his teammate is currently dominating the championship in then, are not something that can be solved over a fortnight.
"It's a bigger thing than just saying this or that. But yeah, there's been a lot more understanding and I think that's the main thing. So as a team then we need to work on how we can bring that to the car."
