There is (still) turmoil within Red Bull Racing, with Christian Horner at the center of the storm. Some of Max Verstappen's team boss's powers have already been revoked by Red Bull GmbH, and the Brit has already looked around for a position elsewhere.
Ralf Schumacher has heard the same stories from within the Austrian team as GPblog did. In conversation with F1-Insider, the former F1 driver even paints a shocking picture of the situation: “The truth is: It's not only key people who have left Red Bull because of Horner.”
“There are also skilled technicians who do not want to move to Red Bull in the future as long as Horner is in charge. Max Verstappen should also consider this when thinking about his future,” said the German.

Schumacher and Horner are not friends

It has long been known that Schumacher and Horner are not friends. The former driver is frequently critical of the performance of Red Bull's team boss. This often leads to Horner responding to Schumacher.
The latest exchange between the two played out just last weekend in Barcelona, when the Leamington Spa native dismissed the bizarre theory put forward by the former German driver, namely that Max Verstappen is deliberately trying to sabotage his own results in order to trigger an exit clause in his contract at the end of the season.
In any case, Schumacher has been expecting for some time that Horner has had his days numbered at Red Bull. In a recent podcast of the German Sky Sports, for instance, when discussing the future of Yuki Tsunoda with the racing team, the German expected that Horner and the Japanese would no longer work for Red Bull in 2026.
Now it remains to be seen how the situation will develop in the coming weeks, with Horner still hanging by a thread following the rumours that have surfaced in recent days.
