Sky Sports pitlane reporter Ted Kravitz has stated that Red Bull will not be disappointed in losing the 2025 constructors title. However, Max Verstappen must stay in the battle for the driver's championship.
McLaren already has scored 279 points in the first seven races of the 2025 season. The papaya squad have a sizeable advantage out front and are looking to win the title back to back. Their closest competitor, Mercedes, has 147 points under their belt while third-placed Red Bull sits on 131.
"I mean, (Red Bull) will come back and they'll say, well, we were never going to win the Constructors again this year anyway because McLaren was so strong," Kravitz began on the Sky Sports F1 Show.
Red Bull team boss Christian Horner admitted that the constructors title is not something that the team are focusing on. After all, Yuki Tsunoda has only been able to score seven points with Red Bull after Liam Lawson's pointless tenure came to an abrupt end after two rounds in the hotseat.
The Japanese driver performed well in Imola and finished in 10th place after starting the race from the pitlane. A heavy crash in qualifying took him out of the running on Saturday.

Kravitz went on to look into Red Bull's point deficit. "What is it? 131 Red Bull, 147 Mercedes. So yeah, they might finish second if they're lucky, but I don't know.
"If they can just take the drivers (championship) to the last few races, the Vegases, the Qatars, the Abu Dhabi's of the year, then no one will be talking about the Constructors and they won't either. And let's talk after Spain, let's see where we are with some of the more technical directives.
"And then if they were to get a driver's (title) with all of this, they'd be thinking, so what about the Constructors?"
Max Verstappen has won two races this season and still firmly remains in the 2025 drivers championship battle. The Dutchman is 22 points behind leader Oscar Piastri and nine behind second-placed Lando Norris as he hunts his fifth consecutive title.
The Monaco Grand Prix acts as the next opportunity for Verstappen to hunt down McLaren with solid momentum, but the tight and twisty street circuit may benefit the papaya squad.
