Former Formula 1 driver Christian Danner notices a problem at Ferrari, which he describes as ‘fatal’.
Speaking to AvD Motorsport magazine after the Miami Grand Prix, Danner explained the issue with the Italian-based team.
Danner said, “At Ferrari, no one dares to make a decision right now, and that's fatal. Everyone involved – from the track engineer to the strategist – is a bit scared.”
“They'd rather do nothing than do something wrong."
He also notes another issue with Ferrari is how they communicate. “Communication within the Ferrari system isn't yet so harmonious – it's all a period of adjustment.”
Danner added, “I hope Lewis, with his confidant Fred [Vasseur], finds a way to express himself, even critically.”
“He has to say how he would like it to be in order to move forward constructively.”
