Yuki Tsunoda made an urgent plea on his Instagram account. Red Bull Racing wasted no time in heeding their driver's call on TikTok.
Not only is Max Verstappen on vacation, but his teammate Tsunoda seems to be enjoying some time off as well.
The next Grand Prix on the schedule is set to take place in Belgium at the legendary track, Spa-Francorchamps. Formula 1 drivers are expected there in just over a week.
Thus, Tsunoda took the opportunity to make a trip to Lake Como in Italy, which did not go over without 'cassualties.'
“On a completely unrelated topic note, if anyone finds a phone while swimming in Lake Como, lemme know,” he posted on his Instagram story. Whether it's his own phone is unclear.
Red Bull Racing quickly responded on TikTok to the driver's unfortunate incident, posting a hilarious video 're-enacting' the loss of the celphone.
Where the future lies for the Japanese driver is still unknown, but a move to Aston Martin could be logical due to his ties with Honda.
The Japanese car manufacturer is currently working with Red Bull, but for 2026, Honda is already hard at work to premiere its upcoming collaboration with Aston Martin in the strongest possible fashion ahead of the regulations' overhaul set to be introduced next year in F1.
