Vasseur confirms the Leclerc news no one wanted to hear

Charles Leclerc had a crash during FP1 which destroyed the left hand side of his car. Now Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur has confirmed the news no Ferrari fan wanted to hear.
Aroung the 15 minute mark, Leclerc, on a pushlap, overshot the braking point into Turn 3, instead of taking to the run-off the Monegasque driver tried to continue on his path thinking he could eventually make it throught the quick chicane in one piece.

Vasseur confirms Leclerc won't take part in FP2

Speaking in the FIA Press Conference for team representatives, Vasseur was asked with regards to the damage Leclerc had sustained. This is when the Ferrari team principal shared the ill news.
"When I left the garage, we think that we damaged the chassis and by the way we won't be able to do FP2, by regulation. We need to do some checks but I think it's over for today for Charles."
At that moment Leclerc had shown great pace and was in fact leading the session.
