Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur spoke to the GPBlog and others after the Monaco Grand Prix. He mentioned how Ferrari had underperformed and what upgrades they were bringing to Barcelona.
The Spanish Grand Prix is when the new flexiwing technical directive goes into effect. While most teams are adamant that they believe nothing will change, only the rest of the season will really show what happens.
Vasseur said, “I think Barcelona is on the calendar of everybody in the paddock with the new regulation for the front wing.”
“We are working on it for ages now. This can be a game changer for everybody because we don't know the impact on every single team of the new regulation.”
Andrea Stella and Christian Horner have both said that they are not expecting the new regulation to have major impacts on McLaren and Red Bull.
"We will stick to this and we will be focused on this to have the better exploitation of the new front wing."

When asked about what his hopes and expectations are moving forward he said, “My expectation, the summary of the season, didn't change with this weekend. I think we didn't do a mega strong first part of the season.”
“I don't know how many races we did. Eight now. It's the first third, I'd say. But we underperformed compared to expectations.”
He continued, “This is mega clear. We have to be honest with ourselves. Even if we did a good race this weekend, it's not changing completely the picture.”
“I feel also that we have a positive trend in the last two or three races with the race pace in Jeddah, the race pace in Mola, the complete weekend in Monaco”
