A day after a session in the Red Bull Racing simulator, Max Verstappen is on the move again. The Dutchman has flown to a place where - coincidentally or not - Toto Wolff's yacht is located.
Verstappen is currently in Sardinia, Italy, where the Dutchman has had his own monster yacht for some months now. As mentioned, Wolff also has his own boat there. It is unclear whether the Mercedes team boss - who is keen to bring Verstappen on board before 2026 - is currently in southern Italy.
If Verstappen were to want to speak with Wolff, he wouldn't necessarily have to fly to Italy for that. Like the Austrian, Verstappen also lives in Monaco. Given that it's not exactly a metropolis, it's quite possible that the two might run into each other there.
Verstappen will likely decide where his future lies within a few weeks; whether he 'simply' stays with Red Bull, or moves to another team. In that case, Mercedes appears to be the most logical destination. That Christian Horner has been fired as team principal of Red Bull could possibly sway Verstappen to choose the Austrians again.
