Lando Norris, in the end, could not do any better than on Saturday's sprint qualifying, having finished P3 in the sprint race as well.

At the start of the race, Charles Leclerc was able to put his Ferrari ahead of the Briton. "Not a lot going on! A bit of fun at the start. Maybe I could have positioned myself a bit better."

Norris highlights Verstappen's drive in Spa

Norris is not naive to the drive Max Verstappen put in to beat out both McLarens. "Otherwise, a bit too difficult to get past Max. He drove a good race."

"I wasn't going to get past anyone unless Oscar got past Max. They drove good races."

Norris, like Piastri, also saw Red Bull's low downforce setup gamble pay off. "I was hoping for a bit of battling but the Red Bull was too quick in the straight for us to catch up."

Ahead of qualifying, the Brti believes some changes might be in order to extract the most potential from his MCL39. "Maybe some tweaks for us to make in qualifying, I don't know. We will reassess and see what we can do."

His teammate, Piastri, however, was unsure of where to go with the setup in light of Verstappen and the rain forecasted for tomorrow's race.
