Verstappen and Wolff together on a boat in Italy- And yes, this could actually be true!

Max Verstappen and Toto Wolff together on a boat in Sardinia? According to the Italian Autosprint, that is the case. As evidence, the magazine posted a couple of photos where Wolff and Verstappen seem to be together. The resolution of the photos is low, so it cannot be confirmed or denied with certainty.

A few weeks ago there was the story that Verstappen and Wolff were each on their own yacht in Sardinia and would thus meet each other. Many concluded that both were discussing a contract with Mercedes for the Dutch driver. Later it turned out that Verstappen and Wolff hadn't actually met, but they had been in Sardinia coincidentally at the same time.

Wolff and Verstappen spotted together?

It is a fact that Verstappen did indeed fly to the south of Italy for a vacation this week. Though it hasn't been confirmed to GPblog that the photos are real, it has been indicated that it's not impossible for Wolff and Verstappen to have met. After all, they both get along well.

Verstappen was asked about a meeting with Wolff during the last race weekend in Hungary, in case their boats were near each other during the summer.

The Red Bull Racing driver then said: "If my boat is next to Toto's, then the boat is next to Toto's. You can have a personal relationship with someone, even if you don't have a working relationship with someone," said Verstappen.
