Max Verstappen is known for not seeking attention, he rather values and cherishes his privacy and the little time he has available to spend with friends and family, which is why attending the worldwide premiere of the F1 movie in New York is not high on his priority list.
Despite being credited in the film and taking on sizeable screen time, Verstappen rather chooses to spend his Monday in a much more low-key way: ''I'm going home to my daughter,'' says the Red Bull Racing driver to Dutch media present at the track, according to Formule1.nl.
''Whether I will watch that film again at a later time? Maybe yes. If it suits me or if someone else wants to see it, then I'm fine with it. And maybe I will be positively surprised.''

Verstappen doesn't see himself living out the Sonny Hayes F1 comeback

''I also sincerely hope that it is a good and successful film and that it has a positive effect on Formula 1. You just shouldn't force me to go somewhere, because that's not quite how it should be,'' Verstappen added.
In the movie Brad Pitt, aged 61, plays Sonny Hayes, a driver fallen from grace, called back to F1 to help build a struggling team back up. When asked if the Dutchman saw himself winning an F1 race at 61 he responded: ''No, at 61 I'm really not into Formula 1. Who knows, I might already be a grandfather by then.''
