F1 racing guidelines have been updated recently, and after the Miami Grand Prix Max Verstappen spoke his piece on them, and although they are clearer, the Dutchman is not all that satisfied with them.
Are the rules of engagement clearer than they used to be, then? Said question was put forward to the 4-time world champion, who replied to GPblog and other media: “I think, [they are]. I mean the last race and then the sprint race and today I think it's quite clear what is allowed and what isn't allowed. So I think everyone is adjusted to that.”

Verstappen on F1's 'unnatural' racing guidelines

When asked if having everyone know what was allowed and what wasn't was better for defending, the Dutchman opined much like his team's principal, Christian Horner.
“I don't know. For me it's always better to leave it more natural but I just follow the rules.”
Verstappen's discontent with the racing guidelines are nothing new. In the race before Miami, in Jeddah, Verstappen was penalised for a manoeuvre that many drivers in F2 seemed to get away with and which had previously been agreed upon would not be punished. He, however, was.
During the Miami Grand Prix, the Dutchmna put forward what was viewed by many as a defensive masterclass, hard, fair, and more importantly, within the regulations.
