Max Verstappen took the lead of the Imola Grand Prix after overtaking Oscar Piastri on the first lap. Verstappen said he reviewed his move after the race.
"When I got home on Sunday, I watched it back. Of course, I already knew how it all felt, but it's nice to look back and see how close it all was."

About him doing the move he said, "I had to laugh a bit."
"Not in front of my TV, but I did laugh at turn 3, thinking 'Yeah, that was quite good.'"
He explained, "Looking back, you can see he was very focused on George because he was actually in second place. I get it."

"Because I had that momentum. Then you can't react anymore, because then I have some momentum."
After winning the Imola Grand Prix, Verstappen was able to reduce his gap to the McLarens. he is now only nine points behind Norris and 22 points behind Piastri.
