Red Bull Racing have shared snapshots from Max Verstappen’s outing at the ongoing shakedown at the Circuit de Barcelona.
The Milton Keynes-based team took to social media with a carousel of photos showing the four-time world champion putting the RB22 through its paces in wet conditions at Montmelo

The photos, which featured multiple angles of Verstappen’s early morning run in Barcelona, were accompanied by the caption: “PICTURES OF MAX ON TRACK (in the rain too 😌).”
Verstappen was one of the two drivers, alongside Charles Leclerc, who hit the track in the tricky conditions for day two of the ongoing testing.
The Dutch driver, who missed out on the opening day of testing, reportedly logged a total of 27 laps in the mixed conditions at the circuit. Verstappen, who topped the morning session, reportedly had his lap times in the 1:20s, over eight tenths quicker than what was achieved by Leclerc.
Verstappen, however, did not take part in the second session of the day, with teammate Isack Hadjar completing the running of the Red Bull team at the Barcelona circuit.
Earlier, Hadjar clocked the quickest time of the grid on the opening day of testing in Barcelona. The young French driver recorded a time of 1:18.835 to top the timing sheet ahead of Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli in the morning session.
Hadjar would continue on a similar trajectory during the afternoon session, leading the field ahead of George Russell, who went second fastest.
