Verstappen and Kelly Piquet's daughter, Lily

On Thursday, Verstappen's private plane also left Nice, with the driver making his way to the upcoming Grand Prix weekend.
Today, Verstappen and Piquet posted on Instagram about the birth of Lily. The Dutchman is only the second father on the current F1 grid, with only Nico Hulkenberg having a daughter until yesterday.
Lily was born on May 1, 2025, allowing Verstappen to be present before the Miami Grand Prix. The Dutchman has never made it a secret that unlike in other sports, competing in F1 does not allow a driver to miss a single weekend.
That is also the case in 2025, as after five rounds have been completed, the defending world champion is only 12 points behind Oscar Piastri in the drivers' standings.
