Yuki Tsunoda has stated that he won't be moving to the United Kingdom despite his new Red Bull drive. When he moved to Italy, he was closer to his Alpha Tauri team, now known as Racing Bulls. However, as a Red Bull Racing driver, Tsunoda has no intention of moving to the United Kingdom.
Nearly all Formula 1 teams are based in England, but only a few drivers choose to live there. Despite its role as one of the most important racing nations globally, The UK isn't necessarily considered by all to be the most pleasant place to reside. The weather would be a specific downgrade for Tsunoda. The Japanese driver previously lived in the city of Milton Keynes, where the Red Bull Racing's factory is located.

Tsunoda wants to stay in Italy

Yuki Tsunoda has no intention of moving from Italy to Great Britain. "No, I haven’t, and so far I’m not planning to. I think I’ve been enough in the UK. I don’t think there’s much benefit," the Japanese driver said last week in Miami. "I have more benefits living in Italy."

Tsunoda once lived in Milton Keynes during the Covid period before he was in Formula 1.  "Unfortunately, when I was living in Milton Keynes, it was during quarantine, so I didn’t have the best time in the UK. That didn’t help for sure. But with this kind of Formula 1 schedule, when you have downtime, it’s very important that you have a house where you can be comfortable with in order to reset your mind," he stated.
The Japanese driver feels comfortable and settled at home in Italy. "So far, Italy is allowing me to reset and I feel very comfortable. I’m happy with Italy. I’m happy to go to Milton Keynes for simulator sessions or whatever."
