The thing is, everyone knows how Max is. Some drivers aren't going to put up with it. And so they will assert themselves just as much. So yes Oscar will have a part to play, but he will only be required to play that part if Max does his usual thing. If he keeps it clean and fair, then I'm convinced Oscar will too. If Max pushes and Oscar pushes back, I'm putting it on Max. He's the one with the reputation, not Oscar. We've seen Oscar better Max twice now. But once because Max decided to cheat to win by running off track and not giving the place back - which resulted in a penalty, and the other when Oscar made Max lock up and then dived up the inside of him. Oscar isn't known for the kind of shenanigans Max gets up to. No driver is. There is nothing illegal on the McLaren car. They've just done a better job than Red Bull. Accept it. What is there that needs removing exactly? Horner tried to guess what it was and he was proven wrong. How many times do the FIA have to clear that car? It was examined in Miami and it's all fine. Even Zak was taking the piss out of Horner with the 'Tyre water' bottle. :) RB can't copy it because right now they have no clue how McLaren are managing it. You think there's no fighting for a WDC because of this? Well to quote Horner, RB should build a better car (or 'fix your fkg car!') was his words I believe. You can bet the WDC is the only thing on his mind. Can't imagine why you think he's given up. Ok so he has nappies to change and he's distracting himself with GT3 cars, but hopefully his slide into defeat won't be that quick. Let's see it last. I want to draw out slowly so he feels it every weekend. No reason why Max can't win tomorrow. He's 2nd and if he fights clean for the lead, he might have a chance on this track.

"but had Lewis left space in the 2md corner of that chicane, they wouldn't have come together and Lewis would have stayed ahead!" There is no way to make that determination. Lewis could have left room and they still crash. But I won't enterain that theory because I know Max went there to crash into Lewis. My feelings were further confirmed in Brazil 2022 when he did a move on Lewis that was also a collision. Max then said in his interview, that he knew there would be no space, he know they would crash and he went for it anyway. For me, that's what he did in Monza and proof that Max is bloody-minded enough to do something like that. Only in Brazil Max acknowledged that he only got a 5s penalty and he stopped Lewis the opportunity of wiinning the race. Back to Monza, Max stops Lewis' opportunity of winning the race. I don't expect you ever to admit that Max would do something like that. Even if you questioned the possibility. For tomorrow, we will see about race pace. Whoever is in front will have clean air on a track it's difficult to overtake on. If Max takes Oscar and himself out, yes Lando might benefit if he finishes the race, but the gap between Max and Lando remains the same with 1 less race to run. Plus Lando gets further ahead of Max. It's not worth it for Max to take such risks. He needs to gather points. If he plays the 'nothing to lose' game, (which it's far too early to think of this), then he'll lose out. Max knows the importance of points and he'd rather have 2nd place than nothing.
